(The photos above are believed to be real grabs of bigfoot)
The Himalayas have been referred to as the ‘roof of the world’. These beautiful and imposing mountain ranges have had significant historical and religious significance. It is believed that in the the era of Lord Ram..some 7000 years ago, Lord Hanuman searched the Himalayas for the life-saving ’sanjivani buti’ to cure Laxmana. Apart from this, we all know that the majestic Ganges river originates from the Himalayas and is the life-line of the Indo-gangetic plains of India.
Apart from these well known facts..there is one mystery about this great mountain range: The existence of BIGFOOT (Abominable snowman) ! For over 100 years, there have been reports of local villagemen and explorers having spotted Bigfoot. This creature is also known as YETI. Over the years, eyewitnesses have vividly described this creature in their own ways. Let me put together the commonalities of their descriptions: The Yeti is believed to be a 6 foot tall beast..covered with thick reddish fur and having a pointed head. He is believed to walk on two legs..and resembles a big bear..or by some accounts a giant monkey.
Scientists have rubbished all these claims about the YETI time and time again..but the witnesses stick to their stories. The footprints of Bigfoot have also been discarded by the scientific community.
Of late, a group of explorers in the Himalayas who were shooting a documentary about BIGFOOT spotted his footprints. This has happened as recent as a week back. This fresh news from the Himalayas has re-kindled the ongoing debate about the great YETI. This has flared up the debate once again.
What do you think? Is there anything out there??

Hi,
Followed you from BC and had to leave you a comment about Bigfoot. About 500 feet from my driveway, there is a documented site location of Bigfoot in the 1970s. I’m not sure I believe in this furry guy but I do know personally a witness who talked to the couple that night of the siting and they definitely saw something that terrified them. They moved out that night from the location and never returned…

Bigfoot in the Himalayas?……I thought Bigfoot existed only in the jungles of Indonesia and Amazon!

As long as Big Foot, Yeti, or what ever you wish to call him, doesn’t visit eastern Canada or Germany, or anywhere where I might be, I’m not going to worry too much about him. Still, the small boy within me, wish’s that they find proof of its existence.
